The patient is given local anaesthesia and then a needle in inserted inside the stomach, with the help of ultrasound. Then the tissue is extracted from the body. The doctor can make few pricks in the patient’s body as per requirement. The patient is monitored for blood pressure and blood loss. If the patient is feeling fine, then the patient gets discharged. If the patient notices any blood in the urine, fainting, fever, or pain in the place where biopsy is done, then the patient should immediately consult the doctor.
